... i keep seeing these gorgeous 'walls of blackboard'......in the magazines that sneak into my mailbox...

...& we all loooove a good blackboard...
...i often get onto the playroom blackboard with audrey...
...well actually audrey eventually wanders off to play elsewhere & i am on the playroom blackboard alone...

...as the house we actually own is on the other side of the world & this big old rambler is a rental to see us through ritchie's job, that we are here to do...i feel i can't exactly paint a wall in blackboard paint...

...{i'd just like to say at this point, that i wouldn't hesitate if back in sydney, to paint a wall or two with blackboard paint- the kitchen, the dinning room}...

...but i can make sure that most of the rooms in this lovely big ol'house have a blackboard...

...so...welcome to tuesday...

...this is my kitchen blackboard...
...it started like this...
...a £4 painting from the local church 2nd hand shop...

...with a good dose of this...

...no it's not blackboard paint...
...thats 'cause i didn't have any- that simple!...

...so i taped & painted with what i had...
...left the frame as it was- with a quick little sand...

...& this is what i am left with...
...i love it...

...try it tuesday...
...hope yours was a happy one...

xx
