so it's gorgeous blue skies over here in the english countryside today...
let's sit for a while & enjoy them together...
god knows, if you've ever lived in these parts of the big ol'world, that you need to take each day's weather as it comes...
grab the moment...stare at the cloudless blue sky...
enjoy the almost-winter sunshine...
for tomorrow is another day...
but for now it's gorgeous & i am inviting you to mine for a virtual coffee...

i know i'm a tea gal through & through...but today is a day for a pot of coffee...
good italian coffee...
the kind your brother-in-law brings you back from a weekend in florence...
after he turns up on your doorstep {half-way-round-the-world-from-home} newly engaged, gorgeous fiance on arm & grinning from ear to ear...
yep that's the kind of coffee this beautiful *blue-skied-sunny-day* calls for!

& after i made you all cosy & happy on my big ol' pink corner chair looking out the bay windows at the garden...
i would ask if you'd had *good weather* where you are...
you see living in this country for 2 1/2 years, from the beaches of sydney, has taught me that in britian you can never talk about the weather too much...
in fact, it's almost rude to have a conversation with anyone from the milkman to the british bestie & to not mention it!

then...i would share some of my nights events with you...
just because i'd like you to *ooohh* & *hmmm i know* a little with me...
it just justifies it all a *bit* when friends do that for one another...
you see............i was up five times...what with one little girl calling out endlessly...
& a determined cat knocking over perfume bottles for a little midnight attention...
& husbands stealing doona's {read douvet if you're not an aussie...}
it was a l.o.o.o.n.g night...

anyway i would then feel better i'd whinged a bit...
then i'd pour us another...nice & strong...
& i'd give you a big pile of the lovely tags i'd made before we had virtual coffee together...
i had a lovely five minutes making these...
that's all it takes...
1. old school atlas
2. colour photocopier
3. pile of luggage tags
4. string
tooo easy & very instantly satisfying!

then we'd giggle about us gals multi-tasking...
& we'd admit to one another that when you're always multitasking...
always doing ten things at once...
that a little instant crafting is a winner...!
&
you'd probably look 'round the room for a bit & spot this lovely thing...
& i'd say * i just couldn't leave him in the shop could i?*
& you would say *absolutely not sweetie...he had to come home for your christmas mantle!*
& i would love you more for agreeing with this *pretty early* christmas decorating purchase...

then i'd tell you i have to send you on your way out into the gorgeous country air...
as i need to go & order our turkey for christmas up in the village...
you see last year...i ordered mine late...very late...
& we had a giant bird...
yes organic...but giant...
no-one else wanted it...no-one wanted three weeks worth of turkey leftovers...
organic or not!
so this year i am getting my order in early...
& a little smugly if i have to admit it...i know i won't have the big one this time...
the one that hubster would again threaten to make breakfast muffins with!

so...enjoy your walk through my village on your way home...
remember tomorrow is time for ten on ten...
{a photo journal of 10 hours of your day on the 10th of the month}
& thanks for the *quicker* than we'd hoped for cosy pot of coffee...
i feel good...& happy & warm...
i like this tuesday morning catch-up...

{i'm linking up with the gorgeous amy from lucky number 13
for this tuesday virtual coffee}
