Finding a colour to suit you and your home can sometimes seem overwhelming at the choice that there is, at this point it might be helpful to have a colour chart with you and at the same time keep in mind the existing furnishings you have in your home. If you are not sure as to the precise colours that you want in your bedroom, or the effect they will achieve, it is often best to get a trial pot of paint. These are little pots of paint of the colour you think will go well in your room. All you have to do is paint a small area on one of your walls with this colour, and leave it there for a few days and see if you are comfortable with this colour and if it lends itself to the room.
Likewise with your soft furnishings, ask a wholesale fabric supplier for samples; any reputable online fabric store will be more than happy to send free samples. Bear in mind that if you choose fabrics with a large pattern the sample may not have all of the design on it.
