The training, which was an eye opener for members of a budding coalition of prevention specialists working in The Bronx. This core group will now take their training and return to their organizations to work to prevent, gangs, drugs and violence related issues amongst in the Bronx. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">For myself, I can say the experience was a great experience. It gave me great insight into the current state of prevention efforts in New York, particularly in such an underserved area such as New York City.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">All an all it was a great experience and one that I would love to repeat.</div>

GATE America, is proud to announce Instructor Certification Training September 29 to Oct 1, 2011 in Fort Myers Florida. Hosted by the Lee Memorial Health Systems. This course will allow attendees to be certified instructors of the Gang Awareness Training Education Curriculum's. <br /><br />Once certified, instructors can deliver the drug, gang and violence prevention/intervention curriculum to their target audiences. The GATE curriculum's include three distinct programs.
