This is a room which would suit many homes and could so easily be copied, even if you were to follow the design principles if you are not keen on the colours a striking style could be achieved very cost effectively.<br /><br />If you are not adept at painting features and focal points on your walls there are lots of places where you can obtain transfers which are quick and easy to apply. <br /><br />Of course the room has lots of white, well I doubt I’d like it so much if it didn’t! along with some beautiful striking summer colours in the cushions, mural and the <a href="http://www.terrysfabrics.co.uk/cat/ready-made-curtains/">ready made curtains</a>. The white coffee table has all the hallmarks of a sixties style which only has the all important three objects placed on it.<br /><br />Always display objects in uneven numbers as this is far more pleasing to the eye. It's All In Black And White!

This fabulous bedroom combines all things black and white with great effect.<br /><br />I love the chunky bed with the contrasting luxury of the white chaise lounge and the alternative stance of using black for the flooring and door frames to create such an elegant look to this room. The whole concept blends effortlessly together with the paisley black and white rectangular patterned rug placed strategically between the two resting areas.<br /><br />This look could easily be replicated on a budget. White emulsion paint for the walls and ceiling and paint the floor with black paint which is scratch and mark resistant. If you have an outdated headboard and bed frame this could be either painted black or use imagination and create a fabric headboard which compliments <a href="http://www.terrysfabrics.co.uk/cat/rugs/">cheap large rugs</a> which can be found online or in fabric warehouses.<br /><br />The whole room should be kept simple without the addition of fussy ornaments. Opt for scatter cushions to make as the accent pieces for the bed. If you can’t afford a chaise lounge, a large comfortable chair would look equally effective. Use a cheap white throw with a cushion of a different shape but in the same fabric as the one used on the bed. <br /><br />This room shows no curtains or blinds for the door onto the terrace, however full length sheer curtains in white voile would compliment the room beautifully.<br /><br />As with all interior design be inspired by what other have successfully created. In typical Llewellyn-Bowen style this Burlesque pink quilt cover has a real flamboyance and style.<br /><br />The quilt cover design has great swirls of purple and black scrolls which have glitter on them against a vivid cerise pink background which creates a very dramatic effect!<br /><br />The colours may be rather loud for some bedrooms, however they are of course ticking all the ‘right’ fashion trend boxes! Very feminine in an almost Barbie way-I’m not sure that Lawrence would appreciate the comparison! <br /><br />This bedding design would certainly inject colour into a bedroom and with the matching accessories of cushions and in-vogue bed runner it is both affordable and attractive if you like pink! For a more subtle <a href="http://www.terrysfabrics.co.uk/prod/bedding/embriodered-duvet-covers/anastasia-duvet-covers-amethyst">pink quilt cover</a> choose one which has more amethyst tones rather than neon.<br /><br />I prefer some of his other bedding designs, in particular the Georgia duvet cover with its cute chandelier motif scatter cushions which blend beautifully with the chandelier shown in the bedroom design. <br /><br />Lawrence has also included some very deep and sensual colours within his bedding range. I must admit not really my cup of tea so to speak, but nevertheless they are of course elegant and chic-you really wouldn’t expect anything less from his designs! <br /><br />Take a look at his designs and also the room’s décors and layout for some very inspirational bedroom interior design styles. Of course these are not real bedrooms in real homes but they do have some great ideas and colours which work well together.

It reminds me of knitted patchwork squares made by the WI and other institutions which are turned into blankets! <br /><br />The great thing about patchwork-knitted or fabric-is that you can basically use any colour combinations and textures and still arrive at an unusual design. These types of random patchwork squares mean you don’t have to adept at coordinating colours or creating symmetrical patterns. You can simply make squares and join them together to make all manner of soft furnishings. Cushions and throws would be smaller and easier beginner projects and once you have mastered the art larger projects can be taken on. <br /><br />Why not make patchwork curtains? There would be no need for complicated headings as that would spoil the ‘home-made’ effect.
