Following on from my last post I firmly believe that your home is where you share your family life, your home is where you share good times with friends, and your home is where you take comfort from the daily grind of work and other stresses. Therefore it is a place that you want to make sure you are totally comfortable in and by using the right colours throughout, you will be able to achieve this. It is wise when you are considering decorating, to think exactly, what the colours are for you? What are the colours that you like? But perhaps more importantly what are the colours that you can live with?
We know, or should do!- that you can get paint and wholesale fabric samples and these really are a great way to find colours you can live with and which compliment each. Arm yourself with as many as you can in colours and patterns you love and then make yourself an ideas board or simply walk around your rooms with your samples until you get the 'gut feeling' 'this is right'! Interior designers may say you're wrong but at the end of the day it's you who has to live with the colours you've chosen and if they make you happy then you'll have found colours that you can truly live with!
