Everyone seems to agree that for turning to Solar or Wind Power devices will be the primary alternative energy sources for the home. In most cases these energy sources will not totally replace the need for commercial power.
So I began to search for other methods of reducing the cost of energy for us all. One of my searches led to a URL http://www.shopelectricityratestexas.com/ . Since my location is North Carolina, I at first disregarded the finding. Then as I continued my search, it dawned on me that I have two daughters who lives in Texas that might actually benefit from the site.
I actually put my North Carolina Zip Code into the electricity rates check at to see what response I would get and it returned an I'm sorry your zip code is out of our area.
However it does appear that the Shop Electrical Rates - Texas Web Site may be a way for people to save some money and have some choices who are in the zip codes in Texas that they cover. The site lists Tips for conserving power for those who need the help. Deregulation seems to have opened the door to competition among the electrical providers in Texas.
