morning gals...ready for a catch-up?
we're doing what us aussies would call *bog-standard* coffee's today....
no fancy schmasy christmas coffee's this morning...
purely because i was racing home from school drop-off...a quick shop & a morning of *thrown-on-
washing-before-breaky* kinda start to my day...
so i forgot to order us something posher...
but i do have a new H & M shirt on if that helps lesson the un-christmas blow...
ceeeeute huh! i love {H & M}...
i'm thinking that this looks good here in winter with my little tied round thingy...
& will look great for christmas back in sydney with my skinnies & some {havaianas}
if you're reading anyone from home- i would love a new silver pair under the tree ;)

any list ticking- ya know i'm big on this at the moment!
any gift ideas for three kids {13, 10 & 6} flying 12,000 miles back across the world 5 days before
christmas?
any gift idea for the mummy that is taking them...the one that will no doubt sit awake the entire 24
hours of the journey & yet still only see half of one movie?
yep, i once watched the first half of {Juno} twice...hoping i'd eventually get to the end...
i love that film...especially the first half ;)
so...if we were really sitting in my front room swapping stories over coffee...
i'd tell you that i'm starting to throw around this new term...*coastal farming*...
i'd ask you what you think of it...
for me, it's the sum of both my parts...
the coastal-reared, surf loving girl thrown in to the english countryside...
who is now also a horse-loving-football-{soccer}-mad-country-walk-loving gal...
that's a whole lota beach with a good dose of all things country...
for me...beach & coastal is lotsa white...lotsa chippy chairs...bare feet...open doors...
sandy floorboards...sun-kissed faces & a tray of mangoes in the kitchen...

& country for me is fires lit to warm one's bare feet...chipped chairs & drawn windows...
floorboards & board games......
wellies & hearty meals on the stove top...
more industrial than coastal...
i'm thinking that if i combine all we've collected we'll be living *coastal farming* style...
the two sides of my life...my two loves since moving abroad...
what d'ya think?
i'm doing it all a little red here at the moment...just being christmasy & all- & it's my fave new colour...
i'm loving a bit of red & white as we come to the end of our lovely village life-
these colours that will always remind me of England...
my *coastal farming* thing will be more coastal orientated when we unpack all those blessed crates...
i'm gonna love that...back to our fresh...simple...beach orientated home...
but always with my love of the country thrown in...
so...if we were really drinking bog-standard coffee's together in take-away christmas cups...
i'd ask how you like to live...how do you throw all the pieces you've gathered round you through
travels, children, jobs & life together?
i think we live in an eclectic happy, sometimes random sort of home...but it does come from a heart
that has been lucky enough to live on two sides of the world...
if we'd really had an hour together today - i'd show you some pickies of our house back on the
beaches of Oz...
you may have a brilliant *coastal farming* idea that i haven't thought of...
& if that idea involved me needing to buy a fantastic old french candle-holding chandelier for our back
balcony before i head home- then speak up.... :)
loud & clear...
i'll even bob back up & get you another posh coffee for that thought...!
& offer you a room in Oz if you ever needed it...
you could watch half of Juno...at least twice...on the way
